Care Act, Obamacare, Premium Tax Credit (Subsidies), Employer Mandate,
Non-Compliance Penalty……Do these terms make your head spin? Do you know
what any or all of them mean and how they affect you and your family. If
you are a Business Owner do you know how the new law can affect your
Employees and your Business? We are well trained and educated to be able
to help our clients understand the nuances of the law and how to take
advantage of the positive aspects while also being prepared to deal with
any negative challenges due to some new requirements and costs.
Do you know the difference between Copays, Deductibles, Coinsurance, Out-of-Network and Out-of-Pocket Maximums and how they work within your policy? Do you know how to read an Explanation of Benefits Statement (EOB)? Understanding these terms and documents is critical but often overlooked. We take the time to explain each component of a policy to our client’s before we begin to discuss specific plans. We also identify any current medications to make sure they would be covered if a client wants to switch insurance carriers. In many cases a lesser policy which covers one or more specific drugs may be much better than a richer plan that does not. Conversely a more expensive plan that provides a Nationwide Provider Network may be much more suitable than a cheaper plan with only a local network.
Asking both general and thought provoking questions enables us to work more effectively with our client’s to determine what policy’s may be the most appropriate before showing quotes or making suggestions. This is where our 30+ years of experience and training sets us apart from most of our competition. Our goal is to assist our clients in identifying, obtaining and maintaining the highest level and most cost effective insurance coverage’s at all times.
